Darin ist mein Christusdorn immer ziemlich gut.
Ich fand, dass er im Moment ziemlich gerupft aussehen würde, da die Rückseite immer leerer wurde.
Bis ich ihn dann heute mal umgedreht habe- oha!
Und dann habe ich beschlossen, ihn so herum stehen zu lassen. Und dann auch noch die Ausleger abzuschneiden- bestimmt hat er morgen beleidigt alles Laub verloren, aber so passt er wenigstens wieder auf die Fensterbank… Weil ich nett bin, hab ich ihm auch nochmal einen kleineren Topf gegeben, weil ich fürchtete, dass es sonst wie mit dem Kroton Ärger gibt.
Und weil die Pflanze nicht nett ist, hat sie mir natürlich erst dann einen Dorn durch die Handschuhe gerammt, als die mit Milchsaft bedeckt waren, danke auch…

Surprise!
With such things, my crown of thorns is really good.
I was thinking he looked rather bedraggled and empty currently, seeing always the side pointing into the room. And then I turned it around today- wow! The window-side looks jolly different. So I wickedly decided to keep the nicer side facing in *and* to cut the unmanageable tendrils it was growing. I will not be very surprised if I find the plant sulking and naked tomorrow morning. *g* But like this, it finally fits on the windowsill again… and because I am nice, I gave it a smaller pot so it can’t get in trouble like the Croton did.
And because it is *not* a nice plant, it waited with ramming a thorn through the protective gloves until those were covered in the white sap, thank you very much…
