Between two worlds

Sunrise in the enchanted woods where little trolls and fluff fairys live

Another shared favourite- we shared so many songs, that I will never run out of these for as long as I will blog, I think.

So Happy Birthday, Vile, here’s to you:

Between Two Worlds

You’re not the only one
Amongst the saints and sinners
There are those that we can see
And those no longer with us
To take that walk again
With someone you were close to
On stage in the other world tonight

And there are many
Who will say it’s speculation
We need to focus on
The sleeping generation
The healing vision
That extends beyond the pain
Will take you there and back again

I can remember
You were no stranger
As you came to me
Dreamers walking
And in that moment
Between two worlds
I saw the furthest star
Exploding all around you

And through the journey
You spoke in silence
And you made it clear
Walk in peace now
Then you touched me
Revealing all upon your way
Inside the burning fountain of time
Of time …

A time so real as the one
We share each day
The same dimension
Just a heartbeat away
In every part of you
There’s so much exploration
Out on the edge of space and time

(Uriah Heep Lyrics)

The mirror of your dreams

Vile in a diary
Turn around, look at what you see
In her face the mirror of your dreams
Make believe, I’m everywhere
Given in the light written on the pages
Is the answer to a never ending story

Ah, reach the stars, fly a fantasy
Dream a dream and what you see will be
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon a rainbow
Is the answer to a never ending story
Ah, story, ah

Show no fear for she may fade away
In your hand the birth of a new day
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon a rainbow
Is the answer to a never ending story

Ah, never ending story, ah
Never ending story, ah
Never ending story, ah
(Never ending story by Limahl)

“I’m wishing he could see that music lives. Forever. That it’s stronger than death. Stronger than time. And that it’s strength holds you together when nothing else can.” (Jennifer Donnelly)

Sechs Monate

Sechs Monate seit Tag X
Gladur im Galopp auf der Wiese

Six months passed since day X.
Six months in which our world was turned upside down, in ways that have been unthinkable. We survived, with scars in our hearts and on our bodys and we are re-capturing a place for ourselves in a world that is different, but still a place like home.
And today I am also starting my holiday. 🙂

Zauberwald

Im letzten Sommer hat Charlotte diese Fotomontage mit einem Bild von Gladur gemacht… Als wäre immer klar daß er in den Wald gehört.
Ich habe dem Bild heute noch einen magischen Glitzer gegeben.

Last summer, Charlotte made this image of blended photos with an image of Gladur…As if it was already settled that he’d belong to the forest.
I just added some magical glitter to it today

A moonsbreath by your side

When the moon on a cloud cast night
Hung above the tree tops’ height
You sang me of some distant past
That made my heart beat strong and fast
Now I know I’m home at last

You offered me an eagle’s wing
That to the sun I might soar and sing
And if I heard the owl’s cry
Into the forest I would fly
And in its darkness find you by.

And so our love’s not a simple thing
Nor our truths unwavering
But like the moon’s pull on the tide
Our fingers touch, our hearts collide
I’ll be a moonsbreath by your side.

(Loreena McKennitt, Samhain Night)

Celebration of Life

The English speaking countries know the term “Celebration of Life”, which is sort of opposing the classical funeral, which is a sad affair. The Celebration of Life is a “happy” collection of memories of the passed person. Celebrating the fact they have been there and enriched life.
There are a lot of everyday items in my life that have been gifts from Vile, so I am nearly constantly reminded. And so it will be much as it was- she will be here in my heart, just not physically near.
