Meine kleinen Dendrobium Compactum Kindel haben sind neun Monate „alt“ (getopft seit 9 Monaten) und sind nun alle zusammen in einen größeren Topf gezogen, in dem sie nun die nächsten Jahre(?) bleiben werden:

Meine temperierten Orchideen sind fleissig am Wachsen, wie war das mit der lichtärmeren Jahreszeit noch? Gilt für die anscheinend nicht…

Growth!
My Dendrobium keikis have moved all together into a better manageable pot now- their new home for the next years. They are nine months potted now and looking still perky.

Proudly showing off the shoots that my orchids of the cooler places have going. All the books say that there is slower growth during the winter due reduced light and such. Well, I can’t say that we have sunshine everyday here and still they are happily growing. Very pleased with that! Here is hoping for some flowers in spring.
I am also glad that the Nelly Isler has recovered so well, it looks very healthy now, it must like my kitchen.

Die Phal. Liodoro wird schonmal auf das Leben als „Hängepflanze“ vorbereitet. *g* Ich finde, so sieht das mit dem Blütentrieb auch viel natürlicher aus.

Das hier ist der faulste Weihnachtskaktus aller Zeiten- will schon seit Jahren nicht blühen:

Deshalb gibts jetzt Konkurrenz! Diese Blättchen stammen von dem weißblühenden Kaktus meiner Mutter- der immer schön regelmäßig blüht. Ich bewurzele die Stückchen nun und pflanze sie dann ein.

Und noch etwas Stimmungsvolles für die dunkle Jahreszeit- meine neuen Laternen:

Phal. Liodoro gets some practise at being hung up. *g* And with the spike like this, it looks way more natural, too.
Then we have the laziest Schlumbergera ever- all it ever does is making leaves, but never even the tiniest bud. So now it gets a rival, LOL!! Those little leaves in the glas are from Mum’s white Schlumbergera, which blooms like a clockwork twice a year. When they get roots, I plant them into a little pot and then we’ll see.
And lastly, something atmospheric for the upcoming long dark nights-a very pretty lantern-holder in oriental style.

>So nobody thinks I have just sick little plants here, today I show happy progress on three of my plants.

My Phalaenopsis bellina is is gracing me with two flowers in her first bloom apparently, because here I see a second bud growing, if I am not mistaken:

My miniature white Phalaenopsis hybrid that had bloomed from the heartleaf has now developed something from the spot where one of those little hoodlike leaves on the stem had been growing into something bigger:

Since none of my other plants who made branches from the main stalk have ever made a green leaf at the base of the new branch, I am secretly hoping this is a Keiki (offshoot) which plans to bloom first and get roots later.(This would not be uncommon behaviour)

And the biggest cause for hope is here. Poor sick „Nopsi“, the large white Hybrid without roots (or almost) seems to want to make new ones, now!
