Meine Orchideen sind gerade echt fleissig und bereiten eine Menge Blüten vor! Hier eine kleine Übersicht:
Alles ging im Schlafzimmer los, wo der Junglemonarch den Anfang machte und immer noch fleissig blüht:
Das war offenbar ansteckend, denn die beiden Orchideen links und rechts davon haben nun auch Blütentriebe in Arbeit:

Und Bratonia Tessa, auf die freue ich mich am Meisten, weil ich nicht dachte, dass sie bei mir blühen wird:

Die Phal. Liodoro war am Schnellsten und blüht schon:
Die Phal.bellina macht nicht nur ein neues Blatt, sondern auch einen Blütenstiel (der kleinere grüne Knubbel)
Genauso wie Phal. Golden Beauty, die auch beides auf einmal in Arbeit hat.
Meine beiden anderen Multihybriden planen eine wirklich üppige Blüte, wenn alle Knospen aufgehen-

Denn die Plümchen fühlen sich hier anscheinend sauwohl (vermutlich wegen der hohen Tag-Nacht-Temperaturschwankungen von über 6 Grad) und da geht so Einiges.
Die Truppe im Schlafzimmer wächst vor sich hin und ist überwiegend mit Neutrieben beschäftigt. Die Odotioda blüht immer noch, auch wenn die Blüten jetzt so langsam schlapp machen, aber die Blüte dauert nun schon fast 4 Wochen -und das mit Umzugsstress.
Eine Überraschung gibts draußen- meine Gewächshauskandidaten haben ja recht wenig und unregelmäßig Wasser bekommen- aber widererwarten hat sie das nicht gestört- die Black Comet macht einen Neutrieb und der große Dendro-Topf, der macht das:
Damit hätte ich ja nun gar nicht gerechnet, aber anscheinend machen dieser Pflanze nicht mal die Temperaturen was aus, so lange, wie genug Schatten da ist.Meine Nelly Isler fand das Gewächshaus ja nicht so prickelnd und ging ein- aber, was hab ich da für einen Pflegling beim Einkaufen aufgegriffen? Das Prachtstück hat miserable Wurzeln, aber Neutriebe und schwächelt deshalb noch nicht. Ich habe daher berechtigte Hoffnung diese Pflanze durchzubringen:
Läßt man den Blick über die Fensterbank schweifen, dann sieht man, das fast überall fleißig neue Blätter und / oder Blütentriebe in Arbeit sind:
Das Dendrobium Blue Moon hat seine Neutriebe fertig und hat mit seinem Einzug hier (13.07.) begonnen Blütentriebe zu schieben. Die sehen jetzt schon so aus:

Finally there is time for an orchid post againThe orchids are loving it here (quite possibly due to the high temperature difference between day and night- it is over 6C and is pretty natural for them) and are very busy.
The live ins in the sleeping room are mostly busy with growing their greenery, but they do that very thoroughly. Never tired Odontioda Stirbic is still in bloom, that is almost four weeks now- and the stress of being moved included.Outdoors, we have surprises. My greenhouse candidates got very unregularly and sparse amounts of water, but surprisingly, that seems to be what they wanted. The little Black Comet is growing a new shoot and the Dendro Nobile pot is at making huuge blossoms!
Especially the Dendro seems not to mind the weather at all, as long as it is shaded.My Nelly Isler hated the greenhouse and withered, so I gave her up before the move. But then I found a replacement in the supermarket. The lovely plant has miserable roots but already several shoots and since it is not suffering, yet, it will make it most likely, especially now that it has a pot that fits the amount of roots. I am optimistic that I can nurse it back to full health.
An overview over the windowsill shows growth nearly everywhere, leaves and spikes are in the making.
Dendrobium Blue Moon has finished its new shoots and is now making express spikes. They were visible as little knubs on the day the plants moved in here. (13.07.) And now they already have grown considerably.And my two slowest orchids, which kept me waiting forever with reblooming have now reached full bloom, too, in a very rewarding manner. Here are Dtps. Black Jack and Golden Beauty in full bloom.
And the Doritis pulcherrima alba is a flower-machine, I swear, LOL!! The spikes keep happily on growing and growing, flowering eagerly at the tips.

Meine Pflanzen sind alle wie wild am Vorbereiten ihrer Sommerblüten, aber zwei sind nun schon dabei. Das freut mich, denn der Umzug wird sie sicher schwer schmollen lassen- und so bekomme ich wenigstens ein paar Blüten zusehen.
Die Golden Beauty macht ihrem Namen wirklich wieder alle Ehre und ich habe fast zwei Jahre auf diese Blüten warten müssen:
Die Odontioda blüht diesmal mit nur vier Blüten, diese sind dafür aber größer und haben sich wesentlich schneller entwickelt als die im Winter:
Und da die kleine Howeara immer noch blüht, allerdings verblasst die Farbe langsam, hier mal ein Größenvergleich:

My plants are all very busy preparing their summer-bloomings, but two of them were fastest and are alreading in bloom. This makes me very happy, because the move will likely upset them muchly and I am not sure how many buds I will get to see to open… So I am happy about anything happing before the move. *g*
The Golden Beauty is true to her name and the nearly two years wait to her next flowering were well worth it. Very lovely colouring and a huge blossom.
The Odontioda is in bloom again, too. This time „only“ four blossoms, but they are larger and developed faster than its winter blossoms.
And since the little Howeara is still blooming, too (just the colour is beginning to fade by now), I used the chance to make a little size-comparition with the Odontioda. -
Einige habe ich ja schon eine Weile beobachtet, aber andere sind echte, freudige Überraschungen. Wenn nichts dazwischen kommt, blühts hier bald auch drinnen.
Hier ein kleiner Überblick:
Die Doritis pulcherrima alba lebt nun richtig auf und bekommt sogar einen Seitentrieb an einem Blütentrieb:
Das hier ist der ältere Blütentrieb der Phaleanopsis equestris var. alba (und jetzt sieht man auch schon, das „alba“ auch stimmt, puhhh..)
Die Knospen der Howeara Lava Burst wachsen kräftig:
Wenn die so dunkel sind, wie sie jetzt aussehen, wäre das super, aber ich glaube, von innen sind sie heller.Doriteanopsis Golden Beauty- hier wächst der Blütentrieb auch kräftig, ich bin gespannt wie lang der wird und wieviele Knospen sie haben wird.
Und nun die Überraschungs-Blütentriebe:
Die fleissige Phal. bellina macht nicht nur Wurzeln, sondern auch wieder einen Blütentrieb:
Unschlagbar im Tempo ist meine Odontioda Stirbic- der Neutrieb ist noch gar nicht richtig fertig, und hier kommt schon der nächsten Blütentrieb. Zuletzt hat sie im Oktober geblüht.
Und dann noch die größte Überraschung- die von mir in liebevollem Spott als Grünpflanze deklarierte Doriteanopsis Black Jack schickt sich an, mich Lügen zu strafen- denn wenn ich mich nicht irre, dann habe ich zwei(!) Ansätze für Blütentriebe gesehen.
So klein und niedlich sah sie aus als sie hier ankam:
Jetzt ist sie so groß und der Topf in dem sie steht ist gut 4,5 Mal größer als das Moostöpfchen…

Showing off the spikes starting to grow everwhere! First those which I already watched progress with delight. And then the lower three plants surprised me, because I wasn’t expecting anything yet. The biggest surprise of all was the not-so-small-any-more Doriteanopsis Black Jack which has grown gigantically and was mockingly sorted into green stuff by me- and now it apparently prepares two(!) spikes to prove me wrong. Wow! -
Meine kleinen Dendrobium Compactum Kindel haben sind neun Monate „alt“ (getopft seit 9 Monaten) und sind nun alle zusammen in einen größeren Topf gezogen, in dem sie nun die nächsten Jahre(?) bleiben werden:
Meine temperierten Orchideen sind fleissig am Wachsen, wie war das mit der lichtärmeren Jahreszeit noch? Gilt für die anscheinend nicht…

Überhaupt hat sich die ganze Pflanze prima erholt und sieht nun ganz proper aus:

Wächst auch verdammt schnell, der Kleine.Bratonia Tessa, 1 Neutrieb

Sieht so aus als hätte ich dann im Frühjahr Chancen auf die eine oder andere Blütenrispe. 🙂

Growth!
My Dendrobium keikis have moved all together into a better manageable pot now- their new home for the next years. They are nine months potted now and looking still perky.Proudly showing off the shoots that my orchids of the cooler places have going. All the books say that there is slower growth during the winter due reduced light and such. Well, I can’t say that we have sunshine everyday here and still they are happily growing. Very pleased with that! Here is hoping for some flowers in spring.
I am also glad that the Nelly Isler has recovered so well, it looks very healthy now, it must like my kitchen. -
…weil die Pflanzen gerade eine Aktivitätsphase haben.
Der Neutrieb der Bratonia Tessa ist schon ziemlich groß geworden- vorallem wenn man bedenkt, dass die Pflanze damit erst im September angefangen hat.
Den Überraschungs-Neutrieb des Monats hat die Nelly Isler- die war nach der Blüte so „erschöpft“, dass ich dachte vor dem Frühjahr passiert da bestimmt nichts mehr- denkste, die zweitälteste Bulbe treibt aus:

Phalaeonopsis Mashimo (da ist schon der Trieb bunt bevor sie blüht *g*)
Und dann war da noch dieses winzige Ding an der Howeara Lava Burst, mit dem bloßen Auge konnte ich das nicht richtig einordnen, darum habe ich Fotos gemacht.
Da unten, bei der neuen Wurzelspitze, da ist doch was?
Im Gegenlicht wirds deutlicher: Da ist was! Und, mit viel Glück ist „das“ auch ein Blütentrieb!
Ich finde es sieht ziemlich nach Blütentrieb aus. (Spannend!)
Und hier verliert sich so langsam die Farbe. Das Gelb in dem Scheck-Muster ist schon weg:

Growth everywhere, the orchids are pretty active currently.
First on the pictures above you see the impressive new shoot of the Bratonia Tessa- even more so impressive, when recalling that it came into existence in September, that’s a lot of growing in just one month.Then the surprise-new-growth of the month: And the award goes to- Nelly Isler, LOL!!
I was really baffled to find a shoot on the older bulb today- after flowering, the plant looked so wrung out that I did not think that anything would happen until spring.Then the progress of the spikes on the two Phals- growing happily. I really love how already the spike is colourful on the Phal. Mashimo.
And then there was this little thing on the Howeara Lava Burst- or wasn’t it? Squintings didn’t help, I couldn’t see the tiny thing sharp enough, so I took piccies. And there is definitely something. And in the picture against the light, it definitely looks as if it might be a tiny spike in the making. Sooo exciting!
And on the Odontioda, the colours are slowly fading from the flowers- the yellow pattern of them is already white.

Jetzt, da Blüte 1 komplett offen ist und die zweite auch fast, bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass es sich bei meiner aus dem Supermarkt geretteten Mehrgattungshybride um eine Odontioda Stirbic handeln müsste. (Odontioda = Odontoglossum x Miltonia)

Dann musste ich mich leider von Miss Milton verabschieden, da alles, was im Glas gut gewachsen ist, eine Schimmelpilz-Kultur war. Bei Blume 2000 habe ich zufällig eine pflegeleichtere Verwandte der Verblichenen entdeckt und gleich zugeschlagen. Hoffentlich lebt sie sich gut ein bevor der Winter kommt.
Burrageara Nelly Isler (Oncidium x Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum)
Schon einen Monat hier, aber noch nicht vorgestellt ist meine Bratonia Tessa. (Bratonia = Brassia x Miltonia)
In diesem Monat ist der Pflanze schon ein beachtlicher Neutrieb gewachsen:
Now that the first blossom has opened nearly completely and a second one, too, I am reasonably certain that my supermarket find might be an Odontioda Stirbic (Odontioda = Odontoglossum x Miltonia). I am totally looking forward to see the whole spike in bloom!
Above you see images of the flowers with and without flash.I had to throw the weakened Miss Milton away recently, because all that grew was an impressive array of mold on it and I wasn’t willing to take chances on this with the colder season coming. By chance I saw a much easier „relative“ of the plant at Blume 2000 last week and used the opportunity.
It’s a Burrageara Nelly Isler (Oncidium x Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum) and I hope it starts to feel at home before the winter is here. The orchid will live in the kitchen with the other two, as soon as it finished flowering.Already here for a month but never formally introduced is my Bratonia Tessa (Bratonia = Brassia x Miltonia).
It arrived at the end of August and has since produced a very enthusiastic new shoot which you can see on the pictures above. I hope it keeps growing even with less light in winter, so that I can hope for new awesome blossoms next spring.
